<p ALIGN="left">Welcome to my home studio in the Marigold area of Victoria, B.C. A love of singing and the desire to explore
and develop your voice are all that's required. Some of my students take lessons for their own personal enjoyment while others are interested in becoming professional singers. No matter what your goals, age or experience, a healthly technique is fundamental. Gain the confidence to express yourself with your singing voice!

<p ALIGN="left">The singer is unique because your body is your instrument; the singer must feel the sensations of voice production as well as have technical knowledge. Good technique is the necessary foundation, no matter what style you sing, to provide an inherent freedom which will increase range, power and control. Your voice then becomes a wonderful vehicle for interpretation and expression!<br><br>Areas explored in the studio are style, public performance skills, relaxation techniques, foreign language diction, memorization techniques, microphone skills and more.<br><br>

<p ALIGN="left">All students, no matter what your goals or level, are encourged to participate in the biannual studio recitals. All students have the opportunity to work with a professional accompanist and recitals are held in a fabulous theatre-like space, complete with a grand piano. </p>
<p ALIGN="left">Goal oriented students are encouraged to participate in exams and festivals. Students of high school age may be eligible for a Grade 10, 11 or 12 music credit by taking Royal Conservatory of Music examinations.
</p>
<p ALIGN="left">Theory rudiments instruction is encouraged. A knowledge of music theory greatly
enhances overall musicianship. Separate theory instruction is available for students at a practical
grade level that requires it, or for any student with a keen interest.
